It seems that the PS are the only French party that have connected with the transformations of technology and its impact on public services and citizens.
After the proposal to have a citizen account to access public services - a "citizen portfolio", there is now the proposal for "educational Wikipedias" and "user communities" and a department for customer services as well as the creation of a collaborative platform called the "observatory of public decision making" bringing together citizen conferences, panels, deliberative polling and Segolene's famous citizen's juries but more importantly "how to evaluate public policy" so citizens can participate in evaluating in real time, akin to Patient Opinion.
